CC TIME - TOP HAT | 10 min | 2017

CC TIME - TOP HAT is a video project, a personal portrait exploring the ideas of performance using the Top Hat as the subject. Using references from Fred Astaire Top Hat (1935) and Blake Edwards (1982) Victor/Victoria. The two films are juxtaposed with the artists to share a distant dream and an unravelling stage of thoughts demonstrated through the layers within the video. While the video unravels it reveals the audience's thoughts to bring conversations about race and gender.
