TURN | 20 min | 2018
TURN is a performance piece exposing the insecurities of a performer. Inspired by the female gaze in cinema. Christian Noelle Charles uses the concept of "looking back" or a turn of the head as a ray of hope. But the vocal performance shows the doubts of reaching that hope. These doubts and insecurities are the trails and tribulations to reach the hope that is self-love.
